Still need to find a way to move on from Nikita Zaitsev. Every Coach has their blind spots, and DJ's is Zaitsev. If he has the option, he's not gonna stop running him out there, and it's just not acceptable. If Dorion can get Melnyk to play ball this offseason (he was definitely able to last offseason), I think they can really set themselves up for real success on the back end. If you can rid yourself of Zaitsev, and replace him with someone like Martinez or Demers, I think they could be closer to the playoffs than the basement next year.

Agreed. Also a top 3 pick might play in the NHL right away. Right now , I’m leaning towards Guenther/Beniers/Eklund as the top 3 for the Sens. I’m not sure of Clarke anymore with Zub and Branny looking solid
