I doubt DeAngelo returns to the NHL with the reputation he has, nobody wants a cancer to the team.

If MB signs Deangelo, especially for anything higher than league minimum, i will picket outside the Bell centre for his dismissal....

You cannot preach Gallagher and Weber type mentality and then go and sign Deangelo. He'll lose all credibility in my eyes if he does.

If Bergevin signs DeAngelo, it might legitimately be his worst move as the GM of the Habs. DeAngelo is the worst thing any team could ever have. Quite frankly, he doesn't deserve another shot at the big leagues. He will ruin the team completely. Hell, he could be a 100 point scorer for all I care.

Don't feel his offensive abilities are good enough to hold the weight his cancerous aura holds.

Oh yeah, I agree... a 700K contract could be worth it... but I feel that having Weber, Gally and other players could have a positive impact on the kid. The veteran presence in MTL could make a difference versus the young NYR team.

I dont mind getting players who need good veteran presences but not Deangelo. Hes been given numerous chances already, im done with him. I rather be a worse team then be better with him.

We could always bury the f*cker in the minor.

Habs have tons of picks this summer. We can stock up this year on RHDs. As for roster players, their will be some decent cheap RHD available in free agency this year. Im not worried.
