Like most of this but 2 big issues in my eyes:

- That Voracek trade doesn't save the team much money, they don't need the picks and makes the team worse. I think they keep him at that point

-Giving Larsson that big of a contract the literal year after Amacs buyout penalty expires would be about the most Flyer move imaginable

The Voracek deal saves us money in 2 years. We could also buy out Neal after 1 year. I don't think the team is worse if you bring in Gaudreau. The team needs a face-lift and sometimes you need to lose a trade to do it.

As for Larsson, maybe his contract is high, something in the $4.5 range would be much more palatable. But I also don't think Larsson is bad by any means. He gets saddled with some really bad D partners for the majority of the time he is on the ice, not to mention that EDM is by no means stellar defensively with the forward group they have.

Center. Center. Center center center center. If you want a Jackets core player you have to be getting us that replacement top-6 center. There's literally no reason for us to do any major deals whatsoever otherwise.
