Sorry with the Mantha trade, Wings are not shipping out young promising player for 2nd round picks and a player who has not played much in the NHL, plus defense is something Wings have some depth at in the minors.

I would think the wings could do a lot better.

I haven’t seen a Wings game in a year or so. How is Zadina coming along? They have some exciting younger guys in the system.

Not happening. I'm 1 season away from putting Brannstrom in the bust column. He's had opportunities to crack a young and inexperienced Ottawa team, and just can't stick. I think vegas already knew that when they moved him n the Stone deal. Zadina has a ton of talent, and they aren't giving up on him. @mikearky is right. They traded Mantha cause they feel Zadina can fill that role, and it gives them cap space to fill other holes.

Is Zadina promising?

I'm not advocating for Brannstrom but Zadina looks like a 3rd line player/2 PP unit at best Nhler.

He's playing well and working hard. He has improved quite a bit since the start of the season and Bobby Ryan has played a part in that they are always talking.
