Description
We’re running the Syracuse Crunch/ SJ Barracuda with some NHLers lol

This is also basically contingent on Tampa winning the cup in 20/21. Giving them the allure of the Three-peat.

This is just for fun.

Burns being traded to Seattle DOES NOT EFFECT THE REST OF THE PLAN - I know it’s costly, as to why I’m paying, and I know it’s just as unlikely to happen as anything. If your comment is about Burns you’re wasting your time typing, save your energy.

To firstly aid Tampa; but also give them another Cup/ three peat. The Sharks swoop in to not only take the incentives of a Johnson trade - but also shake up Tampa mightily and give them a stupid team.

          Détails additionnels:
I’m taking the cost of Johnson slightly slow - it could actually cost more irl but to avoid b*thing and complaining the Sharks take Colton and a First (which all things considered it could also include a prospect, which I’ll skip)
*This first is protected top 3; if somehow someway Tampa crumbles*
Next Hertl heads to the sunshine state to give Tampa a lethal roster. Costing ABB and Raddysh plus a second. Included with Hertl is the RFA rights to Jaros - who’s not really adding much value but is added none the less. The cost of two good prospect could balance out meaning Tampa would not need to add another asset to take Johnson - so things may be even if not slightly expensive for Tampa. Leading to conditions.
*If Hertl does not appear in more than half the regular season games - SJ does not receive the 2nd round pick and instead a 4th.*
*If Hertl does not appear in any playoff games for Tampa (excluding a trade), SJ does not receive the 2nd and instead receives a 4th; meaning if Hertl plays half the games but no playoffs (excluding a trade), the Sharks still don’t get the second.*

That's an awful return for Hertl. Tampa doesn't have the assets to acquire him, especially at 50% retained.

I’m aware - it’s more of a Tampa centric. As it is also for fun. Just exploring the trade but I’m aware the Sharks could fetch better quality.

IMO the Sharks should make the Lightning their good friends and help them with their cap issues, I really like the idea of taking Johnson for Tampa. The one thing I really disagree with is that if Sharks help ⚡ be a mini dynasty then some how GMDW needs to walk away with Hugo Alnefelt.

I agree and as the post is Tampa centric as I responded to the other guy; the return for Hertl is slightly underwhelming. Tho I do like Raddysh and ABB I agree there’s better quality out there/ needed for Hertl.

I’d think the teams meet for TJ atleast to discuss it - but making it grow into a mini dynasty is gonna be complicated/
Expensive for it too actually happen. If we take JBB literally; then without Tampa willing to move Hugo then it makes a trade like this highly unlikely/ needs other moving parts

I've heard GMJB is unwilling to move Hugo but let me point out the Volkov trade. Tampa didn't win that trade, that trade was done for Volkov because he was buried and too talented. Hugo will end up in the same situation so I gotta believe Tampa will move him for the right offer.

thanks! - I don't take these as hate theres much worse out there lmfao! @outcold13 usually comments on my post and we have good convos (only that I can recall atleast looool).

Criticism is always worth at least hearing (maybe not always constructive or useful tho lmao).

Not much to do but look at SJS rebuilds as there is gonna have to be one eventually loool

Yeah by no means do I mean to be critical, I enjoy your opinion so I usually like to chime in.
As far as my get Alnefelt post, that's just that IMO teams play different in front of reliable goaltending. You can just look back at how the Sharks were playing a few weeks ago while Jones was having a bit of a run.
When I look at young goalies that look like can't misses I see
Cayden Primeau I don't think he would be available
Daniil Tarasov he is still developing and can't see a reason for Blue Jackets to move him when they have 3 other goalies who probably bring back a better return at this point.
Hugo Alnefelt he may be two years away yet but with Vasy signed long term and at the top of his game I don't see Alnefelt getting much opportunity. I'm sure he won't be cheap though.
One other guy who may be worth a look is Connor Ingram. He is a Predators prospect who has been very good in the AHL. The reasons I think he would be available is he recently entered the league substance abuse treatment program, is undersized, and the Preds have Askarov. The substance abuse is concerning but if he can get that worked out he may be even better, plus I think that lowers the price for him.

Could prolly get more for Hertl. Also Matty Beniers prolly goes top 3, well before us.

            (Gregor ineligible for expansion btw)
