Yeah. He looks like a guy that is all hype at this point. Protas is 6’6” 220 and is scoring at the same rate. I’d say that’s a pretty big warning sign that this kid isn’t elite. 3rd round pick vs 15oa pick. I’d say that’s a massive disappointment. Protas is projected to be a 3-4c in Washington.

And you don't remember that Amirov played for Russia in the last World Junior Championships in Red Deer which most of us watched last XMas.

Points for 19 year olds in the KHL mean nothing if you have an understanding of how the KHL run their teams with young players getting very few minutes to play a game.

I think that 25% number seems a little low.......My contacts are telling me that Amirov is highly skilled and and was really a top 10 draft pick.........Watch this kid because he can really skate.

I do feel pity for you because the second someone gets drafted by the leafs you appear to abandon all reality and logic and assume they’re a game changer. Or is that just your contacts that you totally have.

No one cares about the past.......only the future matters..........The Leafs are miles ahead of the rest of the NHL since hiring Dubas interms of building a winning organization........You need to get wakeup to what the Leafs are building and get on the bus before it leaves......because it is going to be alot of fun.
