East for sure

I hate being in the East

More competitive? None. Each division saw the top get stronger and the rest get weaker.

The best player that didn't go to the East above wasn't even the best player in his trade.

If Winnipeg did literally anything the North might have been competitive but alas that's not the case. Florida did pretty decent but that depends on how well the new players step in to Q's system. Canes did nothing so uh yeah. West is still just a 2 horse race that just added depth pieces, the East is the clear only answer here

it depends who we define competitive here.
The east is already settled. We all know who the top 4 teams there are going to be. That's done at this point.

I think the West is the only one where there is still an actual race. STL and ARZ
I say that thinking NSH is probably winning the 4th spot there.

It's just a matter of waiting for the playoffs now. Like 14 games to go.

So the teams at the top are going to have a harder time beating each other as a result of being stronger? There's going to be more competition to advance come playoff time...... Is that not more competitive?
