They waived Mete cause they just picked up Gustaffson from Philly who's a way better puck mover and PP quarterback

Romanov hasn't been anything special. He's far too inconsistent and he's not really a PP guy. Gustaffson easily takes his place. Romanov's a rookie, that's looked outta place at times, it's not a bad idea to sit him sometimes and make him accountable for his play. He'll be good in the future, but he's not there yet.

Not at all what I’ve seen from the kid. Just a lack of discipline at this point, it’s real rich to call out Romanov for looking out of place when Petry and Weber have been consistently making awful defensive zone decisions causing way more giveaways then Romanov.

Romanov should be with Weber, Kulak should be scratched, Edmundson worked with Petry not sure why that changed, and now Merrill and Gustafsson run the third pairing. Somebody needs to make better decisions, Petry gets lots of points as a dman, so what is needed is stay at home security that can provide some more toughness around Price, and cut passing lanes.

IF AND ONLY IF, Caufield comes up and can function as a trustworthy trigger man right out of the gate, and the Habs veterans protect the kid, the Habs will make it past the first round.

The team the way it is, good luck lol

Solid like a rock, good wheels, mobile. He has been good. Just need experience to get his shots through. I wouldn’t bench him to play Kulak, Merill or Gustafsson. No fck way

Plz I hope they don’t put him in that situation. We don’t have a C to complement him well right now

Caufield's getting a look before season's end for sure

I want to see the Toffoli-KK-Armia reunion.

I think Kulak deserves his spot. Merrill as 7th and Gustafsson as 8th

Evans definitely deserves his spot!! But not sure who gets the cut... Byron or Armia?

And Lehkonen has shown his game to elevate in playoffs so...

They've got depth, I'll give them that

You’re probably right, though something tells me Suzuki could have his game revitalized with Caufield.
