I think that this is a mandatory waiver claim for us. I love Ben Hutton, but Victor Mete has a good if not bright future.

Yes. Manson should get a 1st and 3rd. Savard isn’t that good and Manson has played well since returning. The extra season even if you think Savard is better ups the price too. The price was already high for Manson and the Savard trade just solidifies it.

In the current cap environment and using TBL over pay trades are not real comparable. I don’t think they get that asking price because I don’t think he has played particularly well (as his shot share indicates for a couple of seasons) and I don’t think that extra year is all that appealing because of XD complications. But if they get it good for them, I just don’t think they will.
