So in yhis trade, toronto takes on two Ltir contracts from Columbus. They send them a goalie they can flip for another pic and a 2/3 C that should be a torts type of player. Also, they get the 2nd round pic. All in all, some actual value and a lot of cash value in the ltir relief. I would consider adding in hallinder if needed

i don't wanna see that..he seems like the most humble, down to earth, happy guy on the planet. my point is he's been a meh goalie his whole career and now all the sudden at 30 years old he's gotten really hot. it happened to hammond and it happened to binnington and they both came back to earth. my point is you shouldn't sell andersen just cause Campbell is playing well. he is gonna fizzle out

So Columbus is going to give up three quality NHL players, retaining on two of them, plus another year of Boone Jenner, in return for Alex Kerfoot, a pick in the sixties, and a goalie who will almost certainly never play a game for the Blue Jackets? Wow.

Campbell was a 1st rounder and then suffered a lot of injuries and has been good for the past 3 or 4 seasons. He has the pedigree and isn't exactly coming out of no where. He was always supposed to be good. It just took a while to come together

Do you not understand the point that @Byrr and I are trying to make here? You're getting three roster players (Jenner replacing Foligno next season) and giving one, who is barely equal to a single one of the Blue Jackets. Hallander doesn't make up for that even factoring in Foligno's expiring contract.

Here's my idea of evening this trade out. Remove Andersen entirely, because he's useless to a non-playoff team and no playoff team will be willing to invest anything to acquire him, so your idea that he can be "flipped for another pick" is just silly. Take out Korpisalo because he's worth more than Kerfoot and the second all by himself. Choose from one of the two remaining roster players; if you want one or two of the LTIR guys too, fine, but taking Jenner gets Columbus a late-round pick.

Take out korpi and domi and it’s a lot closer and I still probably wouldn’t do it. This is really out of touch with the cbj player values.

Absolutely not. Dubinsky is a total nonissue for us especially given that his contract ends this year and we want to keep Jenner; we are most emphatically not paying to have someone take them off our hands. That's downright insulting.
