lmao marner is a great hockey player. this is where i think he fits best as an elite two way forward playing that shutdown role w ror and scheif. morgan reilly isnt better than girard or nurse when armstrong is gna start selecting his team. probably one of the last cuts on d along with a guy like doughty or spurgeon.

I saw that comment and laughed. All he needs to do is move scheif to 3C, marner to 3 RW and it looks way better. Make coots, ror and stone the shutdown line. That 3rd line would be terrifying of point scheifele and marner. Would dominate every matchup they got.
