No they wouldn’t. That was a long time ago, and that would’ve changed so much things for Toronto. They wouldn’t have Tavares. Who knows if they would have Matthews, Nylander, Marner etc. because of having Hamilton and Seguin. They probably wouldn’t have Brodie, because they would have Hamilton, and Holl and they really like Holl so they would play him In the top 4, plus they would have to resign Hamilton. It hard to do these things, because no one knows how good they would be.

im a leafs fan, i dont have to imagine. that year the leafs drafted Stuart Percy and Tyler Biggs at 25th and 22nd respectivly when Saad, Gibson, Danault, Rakell and Jenner were still on the board

Well I'm a Rangers fan and we've got our own busts like Mclrath and Anderson so I feel your pain. Then again we've only recently started having 1sts and like none for a 4-5 year period.

no but if u think about it lets pretend Burke never traded for Kessel nor traded up for biggs (Gibson and Rakell happened) and traded the pick that became Saad team would have been good enough to where yes Marner, Mathews, Nylander would not have happened but Pasta, Barzel, McAvoy would have. And Kadri would have still been with us along with possible JVR, Brown and Bozak
