But most of those offers have a cap dump included, rather than a younger, cheaper right-shot faceoff specialist.

eta: if Detroit wants a 2nd included in that, that's fine, but it comes with whoever MacLellan sees as a cap dump, not with the only really above-average faceoff guy the Caps already have.

i wouldn't tbh. Capitals would need a 1st, established player and a prospect . Amirov + 1st maybe but he isnt a player that has increased his value since being drafted ...has he? idk thats just my 2 cents

What about for half retained Schwartz? I know he’s a HFA, but if you’re trying to make a run this year, he’s a great piece.

What else are you adding? 1 for 1 I won’t do that...Blue would need to add a lot more than him to get Vrana. Just my opinion
