Devils would accept but if the Jets want a defenseman that is good defensively, get Kulikov.

I think MTL would love this deal, but I don’t think the money works. NJ would likely have to take Armia instead of Mete. Or take both, I’d still do it.

With Gally on LTIR i think it works. Bergevin will do this kind of deal, NJ being a good partner with Murray Vatenen & Kulikov

We’ve had kulikov. Murray is better imo. Kulikov can have great (I mean great) games, but that’s only 2-3 games in a season. The rest he’s either passable or even trash tbh. Also, by no means am I saying Murray is very good, but the guy is heavily used by your coach. Look at his defensive zone starts. He won’t look as good defensively as he is if he gets those type of minutes.

I think Kulikov’s salary and Murray’s injury history is the difference. Former gets 2nd or 3rd and latter 3rd to 5th.

Has kulikov really been that good? To warrant a 2nd at the tdl?

Murray has stayed healthy this year which is surprising. Montour just went for a 3rd so I could see Kulikov going for a bit more
