His last big scoop was when Shea Weber had an injury. Big Scoop Kypper came out swinging claiming that the injury was not only season ending, but potentially career threatening. Within 24 hours the Habs put out a press release saying that Weber would miss about 4 weeks.

I know he's a relatively recent 2nd overall pick, but is he even worth it at this point? His upside is pretty questionable, and I'm honestly unsure if he would even play above the 4th line in Ottawa.

Don't get me wrong it's the exact kind of reclamation Ottawa would benefit from pursuing, but I don't think I'd even give a 2nd for him. I'd do something like Logan Brown and a 3rd or 4th, but I'm not going much beyond that.

This is the Logan Brown erasure I will not stand for. Nolan Patrick will get sent to Bellevue to “prove himself” just like Brown did. Is Patrick a game changing C? Probably not. But the issue here is not the players, it’s the Senators terrible asset management.

Yeah, Ottawa has some good Center depth with their prospects. Doubt they'd make a move to get another, but struggling, center.

Logan Brown is not a valuable trade asset anymore. I still think he's going to be a solid NHL player, but it's over in Ottawa, and they completely fumbled what should have been the most critical year for his development. He's gone this offseason, and from a management perspective it looks better to move him for a piece like Patrick instead of a 4th or whatever you get for him, or simply losing him to Seattle.

You don't have to tell me about how the Sens were ****ing things up this year. I've been saying it all along. Brown should have been given an opportunity, Balcers absolutely should have been in the opening lineup instead of wasting a quarter of the season with Paquette and Galchenyuk, and Jaros Definitely should have been given a look ahead of dead weight like Josh Brown and Erik Gudbranson.
