I don't think the Capitals can afford Nylander's cap hit is the biggest thing. Overall, think it could be a solid trade but I would personally like to hold on to Lapierre

Ya, i didn’t really look at their cap situation. I think it would depend on if Seattle is interested in one of their bigger contracts (Oshie).

two things, im not sure why the leafs would trade nylander or why the caps would give that much up. i would personally do this trade as a leafs fan but i dont see it making sense for either side

WSH has as much cap space as Tor toes. Vrana for Nylander doesn't make sense for them. Vrana and Panik for Nylander might?
