Faksa is worth more than Pettersson, plus we don’t want to move him. We aren’t adding a pick on top of that.

We need to Riikola if we trade Pettersson. I don’t mind Dumoulin/Letang, PO-Joseph/Marino and Matheson/Ceci.

But we need Riikola still as a depth, 7th D-man. Even though Friedman plays LHD as a RH shot. He can play his offside too.

And I don’t see the Pens trading OConnor.

And they already said they have no interest in trading their 2nd round pick. Hextall and Burke want to draft “their players” to the organization.

And F**k Bennet. E-Rod is better

Pettersson and OConnor and a 5th is probably an overpay. Especially in this market.

But not many west coast teams fans know east coast teams young players. Or vice-versa. So I wouldn’t imagine u know who D.OConnor even is. Or Pettersson. OConnor was the Ivy League player of the year last year and playing well for the Pens this year when called upon.

It doesn’t matter what their fans want. I highly doubt the pens trade OConnor. And both Pettersson and Riikola

We’ll see though. I’m a fan of getting Faksa. Or R.Hintz. Or even Ty Dellandrea(for Poulin).

An overpay? O’Connor is an AHL’er. Oleksiak has better numbers than Pettersson, he isn’t worth Faksa, plus we’re adding the pick. This far from an overpay.

Ok. Don’t be mad cause u don’t know who the players are bud. U just proved it by saying OConnor is a AHL-er. Lol.

Was in college last year( won Ivy League player of the year) and was up with the Pens most of this year. Played more in the NHL than AHL his 1st year..lol.

And Oleksiak does not have better numbers than Pettersson. Pettersson is a 24 year old, top 4 LHD on a play-off team. Plays 20 plus minutes a night. Amd has had better numbers his 1st two years with the Pens than Oleksaik career highs..lol.

More like Pettersson has the same numbers as Lindell last year..lol. Oleksaik career highs arnt even close to Pettersson’s 1st 2years with the Pens. Plus Pettersson is still 24 years old with more potential.

And Drew OConnor is a 23 year old career AHL-er..?? He’s spent more time in the NHL than AHL this year( his 1st year out of college).

You’re telling me I don’t know how players are. He has the same numbers as L’Esperance, who’s barely on our roster, plus we have like 3 of our main guys who are injured.

Too long and too big contract, we already have Benn and Seguin who have large contracts don’t need more.

Doesn’t fit in our re-tool, guys like Guri and JRob and also Otter elc will expire, which will result to a lot of money being thrown.

Look at last years full season bud. Pettersson = Lindell. Sure you’d rather have Oleksiak than a 24 year old, top 4 LHD..?? And still has more potential there.. ok sure thing!!

Just like Drew OConnor is a 23 year old career AHL-er...lol. He’s spent more time in the NHL than AHL this year( his 1st year out of college).

And look at Pettersson analytics. He has some of the best underlying stats as a D-man. And 24 years old still.

Same with OConnor, who is a 6’3, 210 pound Power Forward. And still 23 years old. Much more potential. Was/Is a top 5 prospect in the Pens system.

We don’t need d-men, we need forwards, Faksa is one of our only two way forwards. He’s more valuable to us than Pettersson is. I can name all of the 4th liners in Dallas who have the same numbers as O’Connor and some even better.

I guess Ty Dellandrea is an AHL-er. Or a 4th liner, bottom 6 center too. I know Pens 4th liners that have similar stats to him or even better.

There’s a difference between a 1st round pick and an undrafted player, he has 5 points more and is 2 years younger. We have like a million power forward prospects we don’t need more.

Again, OConnor was the “Ivy League player of the year” last year amd most highly coveted College FA this offseason. In the NHL, 1st year out of college.

U say “we don’t need D-man”.. Then “We don’t need Power Forwards”..lol.. I’m done. U are confused.

U can’t just admit u don’t know who he is..lol.

He isn’t, you’re just mad so you name out first round picks AHL’ers. There’s a difference between a two way forward and a power forward, there is also a difference between a prospect and a roster player, learn the difference. O’Connor may be good, but we don’t need him. If you have something that isn’t common, you would rather keep it than something you have lots of. Example: Colorado, they won’t trade Grub because they don’t have any other good goalies, we don’t have many defensive forwards, we have plenty of gritty players and d-man, which makes Faksa more valuable to us, maybe not you, but we value him.
