Savard to Tampa has been one of those trades that have been going around on CF for quite a while now. Usually I'd brush off these types of trades, but I can actually see a fit.

As a Rangers fan, I hope this doesn't happen. Blackwell has been one of our most consistent players and really meshes well in New York. I can see this turn into a Blake Coleman deal of sorts. Maybe Tampa would be willing to give a 3rd and an average prospect or a 2nd. He's signed at almost at league minimum until next summer.

Granted, for any of these deals to happen, salary would have to be cleared up. Unless Stamkos goes onto LTIR (I hope he doesn't, I feel bad for him with all these injuries), Tampa wouldn't have enough cap for any of these moves.
