IMO we should save our trading assets and make a big splash next deadline. Move out one of Neal, Kassian or Koskinen at the deadline to clear cap space and add a huge piece. We could honestly be favourites next year if Holland plays the offseason right, I think we should stay put this season. I wouldn't mind acquiring Derek Ryan for a 4th though, he provides an extremely useful tool and making a TDL move shows the team Holland has faith

You could probably send Turris to CGY too if you want

I agree he has the cap space this offseason to pull off a few good signings but at the same time he could help them get more playoff experience with a move or two that helps them even more next season. But I agree it's probably wiser to go into the playoffs with what we have now, not spend the assets and still improve for next season this offseason.

That's fair. He's not on a crazy deal and by moving him for half priced Ryan, it doesn't hurt EDM's cap

I agree his contract isn't really that bad either but I think the issue with Turris is he's an offensive minded forward and doesn't really fit well in the bottom 6, might be a team that has the room and wants to give him a shot

At this point Im genuinely interested in what Hall of Hoffman's deal would be worth. IMO it can go up based on their being fewer marquee players and yet down based on there being less people willing to make a splash.

Turris and a 6th for Ryan (retained). Edm gets its PK center and Cgy gets a guy with an extra year to retool around
