Yes performance conditions are allowed, but not involving the playoffs. Changed because of the bubble last year with the possibility of changing playoff formats they changed that because of some controversy with the lightning deals last year. Also didn't think anything changed involving resigning stipulations. Could be rong about that, but I would say that Palmieri would also want that extension considering he lives in Boston in the offseason.

This seems to be pretty fair value to me. Addresses needs of both teams. As per the comments above that pick might need a little tweak. Make it a 2nd, conditional 1st if Boston reaches SCF and I think NJ accepts. Wouldn't be too much of a risk for BOS since the pick would be 31-32 anyways.
