Why not use some of that $10M cap space to solidify your roster? You can't seriously expect guys like Broberg, Lavoie and Skinner to hold down key roster spots for 82 games next year.

Seems like too much term for sure for Larsson and Deanault and maybe too much $$$ also.

Larsson won't cost that much will he? He has to be down to a 2M player by now, no?

He is very sound in his own end. He is a the top of the league in blocked shots. I see him getting around 4m. He is really important for this team. He holds up the defense very well.

I can't understand why everyone thinks the jackets would want Koskinen. He is an average goalie with an above average salary and the jackets wouldnt even be able to protect him in the expansion draft. The jackets would move elvis because they believe that Kivlenieks and/or Tarasov are ready for the NHL. Jackets need offence and draft picks. I know nothing about the prospect included, but the first would be big for us. I am sure Jarmo would want something besides Koskinen though.

Yeah I figured that out that a 1st would be great. I am no expert in the prospect aswell but hopefully he could become a solid depth player that could fill a NHL spot. If it isn’t enough a 3rd round pick or another prospect could get thrown in to sweeten the deal

The 1st is nice, but that prospect is producing below expectations in the ECHL and so I don't think that's going to help.
