Gibson would cost more than anyone on here would want to give up, Any Gibson trade post will only say "Goalies dont hold value" go show me one Goalie in NHL history on Gibsons level, signed to a contract like his at his age that has been traded before. (Roy doesnt count he forced his way out). A Gibson trade would literally be the first of its kind, so pretending like other deals would impact what he would bring back to ANA is foolish

Normally he could give you much but the goalie market just isn’t good for the sellers. If Anahiem is going to sell him I think this is the most they could get. Maybe you could change that 2nd rounder for another 1st. But that is it I think. Otherwise yeah he has a great contract and he brings alot to the table. Maybe Jarvis could be in the deal to make it work.

They have no reason to sell him. They need to be given a reason, and this doesnt do that

Anaheim has no use of him anyways. Give the lad a chance to win the cup. When Anaheim could become good again he will be at least 30. You're wasting his prime for nothing. Also this would make Anaheim really bad for the coming 2 years and that would give them good prospects. Instead of becoming a new Minnesota just getting stuck at average.
Well I was listening to a podcast and they talked about Gibson going to the canes that's why I got this idea in the first place. Gibson with their defense aswell would be such a hard team scoring on.
