Eichel is a top ten center when healthy but why so many trades with NYR is center really their top need ?

First, Yakupov actually did OK for a team with Ralph Krueger as a coach 17 goals 31 pts in 48 games.
Second, right now neither Lafrenière, nor Kakko are playing that well so it is a HUGE risk for Buffalo.
Third, big players take longer to develop, Thornton is Jumbo Jim 6'4" 220 lbs. Sabre fans does this Tage Thompson look anything like he did 2 years ago?
Fourth, as a Sabre fan that offer would get my attention.
Fifth, even with Lafrenière and Kakko, Buffalo is left with a donut line, no center.

yeah my question is why do NYR fans keep proposing Eichel trades either they offer a bunch of crap or if they offer equal value it's still more of a lose lose deal then a win win deal, Blue Jackets really need a center, LAK have the pieces to make a deal , Eichel to NYR just doesn't make sense to me for either team.

Blue Jackets don't have the assets to make a deal for Eichel (unless you think Laine is okay for the centrepiece of the trade).

LAK I'm sure would be willing to make a deal but I don't see how it makes more sense for them than for NYR.

Sabres don't have any particular needs right now. Even if they have no centres it doesn't matter cause they are rebuilding not competing (especially if they trade Eichel).

The Sabres should be competing right now, the only reason they aren't is because they have a bunch of bad contracts like Okposo and Skinner. Imagine if the Sabres had an extra 15M in cap space, that would go a long way.

Are you dumb, Laf and Panarin never play together. Laf is on the third line behind Kreider and Panarin. He plays with Chytil and a combo of Kakko or Gauthier. Stop talking out of your behind when you don’t know what you’re talking about. Plus keep your center on your awful team and keep sucking with your joke of a franchise. No you always want to have a legit first line center either on the team or in the pipeline - it's the one thing you will never get in Free agency and you have to be lucky as hell to get one in the draft.
