Toronto is absolutely a top contender. They have a tougher division than Tampa and Colorado. And are close in points. It's so hard to tell for sure but Tampa doesn't have to play against McDavid 9 times, instead they get Detroit, Dallas, Nashville, Columbus and Chicago, a couple of those teams wouldn't be much better than Ottawa.

All the Islanders players are the best and the system has nothing to do with it.

I mean there's quite a few players on the isles that suck, such as Andy Greene, Scott mayfield, josh Bailey etc. The system is extremely overrated, the isles young players are carrying the isles and make trotz look better than he is.

Their bottom six and goaltending don’t give me much confidence in a seven game series.

All non Leaf fans want them to lose and will say this stuff until they win. The Leafs are a good team no question about it.b
