I’m a Jets fan and even I know that’s likely not enough for dahlin. I think as a Jets fan, I can see the potential in Heinola and I think he’ll be close to as good as dahlin. But thinking about it objectively, dahlin was a 1st OA pick. He has much more value than this, he still has franchise dman potential too. Like I think we’d have to swap vesalainen for perfetti to get the deal even close. Dahlin puts this team over the top, he would be a cornerstone piece for the Jets. Hes that good, he’s just been screwed over by some interesting coaching and bad teams.

What I think it would take for dahlin:

Heinola
Perfetti
2022 1st
2021 2nd.

That’s a kings ran some, but it’s what it would take to acquire a potential franchise dman. And no I wouldn’t pay that price as like I said Heinola will be close to what dahlin is IMO.

That’s all you think it would take for dahlin? Heinola is going to be way better than Pionk is, and seems like Buffalo would rather have LD coming back for dahlin. I thought it would take like perfetti, heinola and a 1st to even get close.

I think I was really close in value. I definitely agree that dahlin is off the table. But if Buffalo did move dahlin and Eichel they’d be rebuilding. Ehlers doesn’t necessarily fit that timeline. Feel like they’d be more happy with the package I put together. Honestly though i agree even that package likely isn’t enough. Jets would likely have to add another solid prospect. I gave the 2022 1st as it’s more valuable than the 2021. If you look at the package it’s essentially 3 1sts and a 2nd for dahlin. Feel like that’s close.
