I don’t know. LA could use a veteran center and Beagle is not bad. Overpaid a bit, but for one year, LA could afford it. Maybe if VAN would throw a 5/4th pick.

That cap space can be spent better elsewhere in a market where it’s tough for UFAs, plus they could take on a contract like Beagle’s and likely get a 3rd as well. And if they need a 4C they can sign a better player for league minimum in free agency.

Kings don't want Beagle they already have Carter as a veteran option, here is their center depth: Kopitar, Vilardi, Carter, JAD, Lizotte, Andersson, Kupari, Turcotte, Byfield, Thomas, Madden, and Dudas. They don't need a center.

Oh he still has something in the tank, but no team is taking him at $3M unless you are retaining. The Kings should push hard to get Elder however.
