The first period was ugly for Laval. Shots on net 17 to 7 for the Moose. McNiven played a good game, positioned well. He has won 8 of his last 9. I was happy to see Veilleux last the entire game. He is a big strong player that is often noticeable on the ice. I was happy to see Pezzetta get his first goal of the season. He is more known for hitting and fighting. A funny moment occurred after a stoppage of play, out of nowhere Baddock comes rumbling in gloves off and ready to fight. When the Moose player refused to fight, Baddock put his gloves back on, picked up his stick and pretended nothing happened. The Moose coach was furious.

Harvey-Pinard, is small, does not have a powerful shot, does not skate well, he has so many negatives, yet almost every game he is the hardest working player, the one that gets Laval going. His tenacity is contagious. He has turned into a fantastic find from the 7th round.

The last game Laval had 5 players injured, 3 with the Taxi Squad (not counting Lindgren)

Great road trip. 15 out of 16 possible points!
