Stats are one thing, results are another. Which would you rather have? Good stats and no cups? Or 3 cups?.. seems like an easy decision.

Personally I'd rather read the title of the mock draft.

Yeah, the title is basing the draft off only analytics. When I'm trying to say that the guy that went 1st overall has won 3 cups and taken an expansion team to the final. In other words, analytics aren't everything

What you're saying is stupid because cup wins aren't analytics and it's not the point of the mock draft.

Personally I'd be asking questions like "Why is Zherdev first?" or "Why did guys like Suter and Vanek fall?".

That's exactly my point. That analytics aren't what matter the most when drafting. If a team new that a guy they were going to draft would either have "good analytics" or be a 3 time cup champion, 100% of those teams are taking the cup champ. Every time. I never knew that results were more stupid than stats, but you're entitled to your own opinion I guess.

Idk where Fleury would rank, goalies metrics are different than those for skaters, which is why I didn't include goalies in my re-drafts.

Zherdev was nice (61 points isn't anything to scoff at), but he couldn't coexist with the coaches in Columbus, all 4 of them (in 4 years). Maybe (and this is a big maybe) he could have done better in Pittsburgh under Eddie Olcyk.
