Thats not outside the realm of possibility. I was kinda surprised to see reported interest by the Blues but they have lost 8/10 so gotta look at some options I guess.

When an insider says “I think team A would be interest in player” it’s not a rumor. It’s pure speculation based on potential fit. STL hasn’t been scoring so Friedman mentioned them.

Edit: I should also mention a rumor is when there’s more concrete details on a team being interested. I only say this because idk how STL fits Hall under the cap.

This is where I came to see how the money would fit. Sanford or blais out and sunny ltir looks like it works for a 50% retained Hall. Sorry if rumor was the wrong title, just some new speculation I saw.

As for the cap are all the guys on LTIR out that long? I knew the blues were banged up but didn’t know how long for some of the guys.

Barbashev has a chance on returning, the rest are out for season. Parakyo is technically on LTIR right now but is skating. The Blues are actually healthy right nw compared to a few weeks ago when you could have added Schwartz, Tarasenko, Bozak, and Thomas to the IR
