Add from within (mostly) and let the young pieces we have develop us into contenders rather then selling the farm for Eichel and putting us into cap hell...

Contracts are a bit hard to predict. I think they will bridge Chytil unless he really breaks out in the last half of the season. I would look to sign Lindgren long term for a reasonable AAV and obviously they will sign Shesty long term (hard to know what the AAV will be).

Laffy needs to play PP so you could totally rotate the 4 youngins (Kakko, Laffy, Chytil, and Kravy) on PP2 as needed. For the PK, DeHaan is more then capable and could be an asset.

I honestly couldn't tell you either lol! They seem to only sign guys long term who are pending UFAs. So it's probable they bridge Fil and Lindgren. I don't think they'll play that game with Shesty though, so long as he plays to his ability the rest of the season.

Nailed it. Forgot about him. There aren’t many. If COVID didn’t hit that would be a great contract too. This flat cap is really going to mess up the value of some recent contracts.
