When Perry is the smallest on his line.... Wth is that team. Now we're only missing a LHD and we're contender

Caufield contract will be 925k (max ELC)

We could still have that cap space at deadline if we play with taxi

I don't know, for 100K and he gets to burn a year off his ELC... MB might convince him to jump straight in the NHL for the playoffs, but to do so... he will have to take a small discount.

So many people believe MTL made the trade to replace Evans. Evans is NOT the issue. He was playing ten minutes per game, had 2nd best faceoff percentages and was doing well on the PK. MTL realized that KK and Suzuki were not quite ready just yet to go deep in the playoff's. Stall will be playing on the top 3 lines. Evans may come out of the lineup but either KK or Suzuki will go to the 4th line Centre position.

I disagree, Evans is the odd man out, stall was brought in to reduce pressure on KK and Suzuki, not replace them. But if they do start to have a hard time, we have Staal that can step up.

While Phil has not played well offensively, he has played much better of late. Also, it appears Tuna, Phil & Gally were finally playing like last season just before the week break. Hopefully they can keep that up once they get going again. Bergevin realizes the window is now with Price and Weber. He may add one more piece, but he will not sacrifice Suzuki, KK, Romanov. He has draft picks and Byron, Armia and/or Lehky he can move. Not implying they will be moved but if you send one of those guys with a 1st round pick to a team with cap, then you can pull something off to get that last piece you might be seeking.

Finally, the Habs have a ridiculous amount of strong LD's on its way, something like 7 or 8 of them, not all will make it, so I would not be surprised to see an LD prospect be moved.

That is why I said Evans may come out, but he is not the problem, not implying you, some people have said on here. It is more to shelter and help Suzuki and KK that have both had inconsistent seasons thus far.

Can't be Fairbrother cuz he just signed. Wouldn't make sense to trade Harris or Struble cuz having one of them leave could affect the mindset of the other given out that they both play for the same team. Guhle was just drafted... That let up like Norlinder. While I absolutely love this guy he's just the odd one out basically. And ohh Romanov is untouchable that's it
