I like Bertuzzi but couldn’t make this trade without getting defensive depth somewhere else. I don’t think most realize how little depth the Canes have on defense after their top 4. Gardiner is hurt, and moving Bean or Fleury would put J.Ryan or Joey Keane into the lineup right now.

Bertuzzi doesn't really fit the mold of our team. Besides, we're not trading Bean anyways. I anticipate that we're gonna just throw a lot of picks at Seattle to not take any of our top 4d.

I like the idea of these trades. I think elvis would be the goalie cbj move over korpi, because korpi is getting more games. Would love to have either play for the wings.

forward for defensemen i thnk i would aim a bit higher then bean and move mantha. Mantha is going to score more goals and I believe is the better of the two players. But bert is just one of those guys that you love to have on your team. Love both players, would hate to see either leave but you have to give something to get something.

Regardless, Bert is injured and I doubt anybody's trading for him right now.

Bean's pretty damn good. Won AHL Dman of the Year last year and is playing at a 0.5 PPG clip this year.

I actually chose Korpi because he's played more games but has worse stats lol. Either would work for me though.

Yea i like Bean, I was hoping he would fall to the wings in 2016, but i would be nervous loosing such a core, heart and sole guy for someone who isn't very experienced in the nhl yet. if yzerman made the trade I would have 100% faith though.
