Since the season was supposed to end on May 8th, and it is now extended beyond that, what happens to each team’s cap hit? Does the pro-ration change over a different number of days, or are the extra days after May 8th just treated like playoffs where the salary cap doesn’t matter?

Good question, i would imagine they just adjust the salary based off days but who knows6

I’m guessing that they might just treat it like playoffs, because there was a FLA vs. BOS game that was delayed to April 8th, 2018, and CapFriendly’s archived cap hit for the Panthers & Bruins ends on April 7th. Although I’m not sure if that’s still the case
