I’d like the oilers to do that but it’s not likely at all. Holland said he wasn’t shopping for depth type of players which is all this would be. If an injury or two took place likely see a call up from Bakersfield before going down this road given both situations would require quarantine. I’d be ok seeing this happen just not likely

I agree that he's the logical choice, but a 3rd round pick is fair value. Avs don't really need the retention either given that Johnson and Francouz are on LTIR so you can reduce that if you want.
