So many things wrong with this. 1) Skinner is not a cap dump and if he was we would not give away 2 picks and a prospect for a 7th. Hes a 30-40 goal scorer everyone knows that. With a new coach he will be fine, he cannot control the fact that he was buried on the 4th line playing 10 mins a night. 2) Why is Buf adding to that Winnipeg trade? He is worth a 2nd at minimum. 3) That Rangers trade makes me want to puke. How does a top 15 player in the league, a top PP scorer in the league, and 2 draft picks get you a 2nd overall bust, a player who is not even in the league right now, and Laf? You're right it doesn't. That Rangers trade is not enough for Eichel ALONE but to include Olofsson and 2 picks for that package is absolute garbage.

im not doing that eichel trade. I have no interest in Kakko and deangelo has negative value. Plus were giving up picks and olofsson.

Like i said that package is not enough for Eichel alone and you added Olofsson and 2 picks to it? That trade would set back Buffalo YEARS. All these trades are awful for Buffalo. With that package for the Rangers Panarin would be included. YOu dont trade that package for two young unproven players and a guy out of the league.

2. Heinola has more potential than Risto
3. Laf and Kaako are more than enough for Eichel. One of them would be in an Eichel trade, not both. Don't overrate Eichel

A 40 goal scorer is not a cap dump. Is he overpaid? Absolutely. To give him away with a prospect and 2 picks for a 7th round pick is garbage. eichel is a top 7-8 player in this league playing on BUFFALO. if you put him with panarin then hes only getting better.

skinner hasn't had a 40 goal season in years, he washed, he has the worst contract in the nhl and it should cost 3 1st to move him. The fact is he is never going to score 30-40 goals again, no one going to take that contract in a flat cap league, and if you think he has positive value you're delusional

Jumbo Joe had 125 points in one year. Devils should trade Hughes, Hischier, Smith for him because they haven't even close to that total. Heinola has a ton of upside. I wouldn't do that trade if Im Winnipeg. Eichel is a top 15 player but Sabres fans are overrating him and Rangers fans are underrating him.

the 2nd and 4th round picks will be very high, and since you add olofsson and do them a favor by taking deangelo, the trade would work out well for both sides. an eichel/panarin duo would be absolutly filthy and would generate so much more fan interest to the rangers
