However, Lysell does not fall to 16. He could likely be a top 5 pick, the lowest he gets taken is 10.

Also the Jets easily take Edvinsson. I know he's been bad but the Jets really need defense more the centers. They drafted Perfetti last year who could overtake Scheifele as their No. 1 center.

Lysell would for sure go higher as someone said.

Also I love him a lot, and most have him in the top 20 of the class: Stanislav Svozil. In terms of Dmen I have him ahead of Lambos and Chayka, and I think 17th overall. Very good two way defender, does everything very well, but not one super special quality.

I really like Hreshchuk but it's hard for me to put him in the first round, especially if Behrens isn't higher than him

If they took him, he'd probably end up as their 2nd LD because Heinola is better than him. I only had Pinelli because he is playing great off in Europe right now and Perfetti may move to LW to play beside Dubois on the top line and Pinelli can be 2C as Scheifele starts to age.

I wanted to put Lysell higher, but I just couldn't. My gut told me not to and he's not playing insane, but he's still a great player.

Svozil, I would have literally the spot right outside of the 1st Round like Wallinder went last year. I just couldn't see 5 dmen in a row at the end of the first.

Hreschuk and Behrens are like brothers. Both play in USNTDP and are both great Defesnemen with very similar styles of play. My preference would be Hreschuk though.

I have Lysell as my third forward in the class and I think 7th overall.

Also Raty has really picked up his play recently and narrowly made my top 10, but that my be some recency bias

If the first 8 picks go the way you have laid out, the Stars should absolutely be taking Lucius, McTavish, or Lysell over Pastujov. Kid can score, but he can't skate. He figures that out & he's going to be very good, but that kind of risk isn't something any team in the top-10 should take. I've got Pastujov in the early 20's

If he touches up his skating he is going to be an absolute stud, but I wouldn't argue with any of those other guys going to the stars. I was questioning myself on this pick too. I still think Pastujov should be top 10 though for now.
