Leafs can't afford to lose any NHL Dmen without getting one in return, so the Leafs have to decline. Plus trading two NHLers and then waiting 3 weeks for the incoming two players to be in NHL shape, doesn't fit any Canadian division TDL plans
Leafs had a bit of window to make a USA trade starting Saturday evening. IMO that trade window has passed.

in terms of value janmark has more than dermott so not sure why we're giving up the higher pick? Not that we even need him with the abundance of lhd coming up from our own system who are younger with more upside.

LMAO so true. I want nothing to do with Dermott and certainly not giving up Carlsson, a 3rd and Janmark for him...that's crazy. Engvall doesn't have much value.
