Hawks need more for Strome then Legare as the trade is dependent on him. McCann is not all that interesting IMO and Hawks have plenty of bottom 9 LW’ers.

He's been on IR and before that played 5 games with a concussion with noticibly less ice time. Even before that we played Suter with Kane and Cat almost all year

Where did you get .78? Because I looked and its .72. Strome as a spare part is a bit of an exaggeration. But for someone to call McCann a spare part when they are around the same goal total for the past 3 years is an exaggeration as well

Exactly. Not sure why hawks rate their guy so much who is hardly a top 6C on the hawks, who probably have the worst Centre’s in the NHL this year. Strome and McCann are similar in value and production, with Strome having more offensive talent, but a total train wreck defensively. Over the last 2 seasons:

McCann 0.54PPG
Strome: 0.59PPG

Strome’s first year in Chicago really distorted his value, but he won’t do that again. He’s come back down to reality

Even if you extend it out one more season, Jake’s is still significantly higher. Not to mention Jake isn’t a total liability defensively like Strome. There is no argument here. They are not comparable.

I've already agreed that Jake is more valuable, but they ARE comparable. .05ppg delta in points, Center vs wing, Cheaper Contract, RFA, Jake plays with Crosby. There's ALOT that adds to Strome's value that you're simply ignoring....because IDK, I guess you don't want to look at everything.
