This is indeed a good Forsberg trade. NSH should 100% do this.

Honest question here. Are you worried at all that he's too similar to Marner/Nylander in style? Are you worried about roster construction for the Leafs in the long term? I just don't see any power in the top 6...Matthews being the most stout IMO. I see more speed, but the league's proven that playoff hockey is a power game still. (hard to argue that point) With that said, I'm not suggesting Forsberg is the answer...I'm asking a more general question. Wouldn't you want to trade Robertson for something the Leafs don't have and still need?

As a Nashville fan i'd do it. Not sure if the 1st round pick is necessary though. If we got a prospect as highly touted as Robertson, I'd expect the pick to drop down to a 3rd or so. This is my preferred route of trade as a Nashville fan. 1st round picks especially in the 2021 draft were it's weaker to begin with but players haven't gotten alot of playtime this year so it's more of a crapshoot than typical. Get a great prospect and forego the high draft pick.
