You're probably gonna get comments from Ducks fans saying they don't want Janmark or Wallmark (can't say I blame them cuz they aren't competitive). Maybe do something spicy like make it a 3 team trade where you send Janmark to another competitive and subsequently they send a 2nd to the Ducks or something like that. Idk. Interesting idea though, can't say I've really thought about him as a fit for this team but it makes sense, especially all things considered with his contract

Ducks fan here! You're correct. I'd want a 1st and a decent prospect. Knowing Bob Murray though, it wouldn't shock me to see him blow the re-tool with a move like this. I'd be upset though.

Not sure we'd give up Strome 1 for 1 for Rakell being a 2 year rental and Strome being a 24 year old RFA.

I didnt even realize he had 12 points in 6 games recently, might hike up the price a little bit as he progresses back to his standard scoring rate, and yeah, I get that. We've been there (the Saad trade :/)

Yeah, he had a solid week and a half, for sure. IMO, his true talent is probably a 20-25 G, 50-60 pts winger. People forget that he missed two training camps in a row, and struggle to stay healthy during his two down seasons. His contract, and Anaheim's ability to retain increase his value.

If it were me, I'd be looking for a 1st, a decent prospect, and a probably some form of bottom 6 player if a salary swap was required.
