Boston should be pursuing Rakell.

I'd do it, but I don't know why ANH does. Kase is still on IR and while he's skating again, there is currently no timetable for his return. Not to mention he's an RFA at the end of the year with a $2.6 million QO (which I don't think Boston is going to offer barring Kase coming back and just lighting things up).

Rakell and Palmieri are the two guys that I keep coming back to for Boston to go after. I think something around Rakell and DeBrusk would make sense.

Kase hasn’t played for a while. He’s way too injury prone and Terry is better anyways.

lol East coast Sam Steel would not be the key piece in a trade for Rakell. Rakell is so valuable you can offer a 1st and Debrusk (a good offer) and I wouldnt be surprised if they found a more beneficial deal elsewhere.

Edit: sorry if I come off rude but acquiring Debrusk in any format would just make me more depressed. Like how many under performing former 1st rounders does this team need until they get over the hump?

That said, lets just abstain from the ducks aquring Debrusk all to together. You guys need him like we need Steel which is to remind us what things could of been like if we drafted another player (debrincat and ofc Barzal)

Wow what a terrible comparison. Steel for his career has 42pts...DeBrusk (even w/ this massive slump) has a P/GP that puts him at a 45pt winger over 82 games. Go look at DeBrusk number vs Rakell over the last 3 years and while Rakell has some better numbers, it's not by much.
