Player Comparables (I may be wrong here)

I never saw Weber play in junior, but Chayka doesn’t strike me as being similar to Weber. Weber’s 2 hallmarks are his slap shot and his physicality. In the handful of games I saw in 2018-19 he was a completely different player, but maybe he’s changed his style of play since then.

Weber was more physical in junior than Chayka is, especially in board play. Also Chayka's shot selection is brutal, would not compare him to Weber

I think the play styles are similar for these players, just really not the quality. I mean you have former first overall picks, HOFers, and true top pairing elite D, which I cannot say these players are. Quinn and Luke are not comparable, (Behrens on the NTDP is a similar style to Quinn, just not as good). I would compare Luke Hughes to Hamilton more than Clarke, and maybe have Clarke as Subban (but I like Clarke's transition vision more). I see more Tyler Myers in Power than Hedman or even Pronger like some say.

Well I just watched some of his plays from last season, and it appears I was wrong, the way he passes the puck and takes wrist shots is actually a lot like Weber, it’s uncanny. Although he’s obviously way more mobile than Weber is, so probably more of a cross between Weber’s passing and wrist shot with everything else being similar to someone like Mattias Ekholm (ie. skating, defensive style, slap shot).
