Description

Canes are looking lile legitimate cup contenders but I do think they are that "true starting goalie" short. Come playoff time it is often the better goalie that wins the series and competing the juggernaut that is Tampa will require that final piece. I'm not going to say Kuemper is better than Vasilevskiy but I do thi k he is capable of going toe to toe, something that Mrazek and Reimer probably can't. Nedeljkovic has looked good but I don't think he's ready.

Canes fans may think this is too much but I think this is the difference between pretenders and contenders for this team

Lol obviously this is more of a deadline mobe when Kuemper is back and continuing to do excellent. Thinking you can win the cup with Mrazek/Reimer is extremely optimistic. With Kuemper you at least have an arguably top 10 goalie in the league

Yes they are top 3 but that doesnt mean anything come the playoffs. Almost every year goalies are the difference maker in the postseason

Zona still has to follow the 3 goalie rule so taking bavk a goalie is relevant. As for your proposal, why are you trading Pesce? He is one of their best dmen (significantly better than Fleury).
