That kerfoot trade is so bad for the leafs

Minnesota who are trying to make the playoffs...and maybe more aren't trading a NHL player for futures.
Not sure how Lemieux helps the Leafs over Kerfoot....especially in a position of need which is centre.

That's the right perspective, but I'm not sold on on the idea they won't sell. I can't see them selling Greenway because I think he is the expansion bait, but there are reasons to think Hartman could be available and that may be a better fit for the Leafs anyway. He's got a cup, has played up and down the lineup, and has the grit teams want. I would say a deal would be similar to this, ideally with Liljgren or Hallander as the prospect though.

So let me get this right, Jordan Greenway who has 18 points in 22 games. For Adam brooks who I don’t know a ton about, but looks like he’s at best a 3rd line Center, Jimmy Vesey who is a probably a 3/4th line player, and a low 2nd+ a low 5th. Yeah that’s going to be a hard no from the wild.
