Not bad, but not sure NSH has interest in either Armia or Chiarot (though salary would probably have to go back to NSH in some capacity). I wonder if NSH would try to flip Armia and/or Chiarot in this scenario for additonal draft capital. Could be interesting in that scenario. Let’s say they trade those to for a 2nd + 3rd or 2 3rds — 1st, 2nd/3rd, 3rd, and Ylonen or something wouldn’t be too bad, but it would make it more complicated for Poile.

that was more my thinking...MTL loses them for cap reasons but they still have 2nd/3rd value to other teams

The only hiccup would be whether Poile thinks he can swing all those deals + the other deals on his team. Might just end up being too many pieces to move, but I understand your reasoning.

i think trading chiarot will be harder than trading armia. im 100% sure some playoff team would bid for armia. 6'4 defensively responsible winger.

MTL might be able to hold onto Yoel so NSH only has to potentially make 1 trade + add our 2nd round pick

Completely agree. Chiarot will be the harder trade -would probably need to retain some salary to get it done

how does deadline salary cap work? if MTL accumulates enough then that would be fine

Chiarot is also very tradable next year, pending UFA at 1/2 retained would easily fetch a 2nd

Take out Richardson and add Struble. If they decline at that its foolish to push further. Ekholm would help our team quite a lot but I don't think he's worth more than a 1st round pick, top 4 defenseman, a bottom 6 forward, and a skilled prospect.

I think with more experience Evans fills that role. He's an energetic two-way center which is really valuable especially coming from your fourth line.
