Hughes > Tkachuk IMO. Hughes has been a top scoring defensemen for the past two years while Tkachuk's been leading Ottawa. Its probably close but I'd give the edge to Hughes.

The only reason i put Tkachuk over is because he's been thriving this season and really stepping up to that "next level" and Hughes is playing great, a very talented hockey player, his offensive numbers are great, but his defensive play is dragging down the whole Canucks team. Both Elite players, just right now in my opinion, Tkachuk is better.

I know sample size is a factor, but I think Farabee will be top-5 from that draft very quickly

Kravtsov (16), Miller (19) and Lundkvist (24) would all be much much higher. Kravtsov would be top-2, Miller top-5 and Lundkvist top-7.

So, you are saying Kravtsov is better than Svechnikov or Dahlin. No way. I can't even see him cracking the top 10 in any circumstance in this stacked draft.

Miller might have the potential but now I'd have him just south of 15 at the most.

Lundkvist is great and all, but his totals have decreased from last season, and I could also only see him going a bit outside of the top 15

Kravstov would be top 5 at minimum. Svech, Tkachuk, maybe Dhalin are only ones that hold an argument to be above him.

My dude hasn't even played an NHL game yet, and isn't necessarily putting on a show in the KHL. We both have our opinions.

Ok, but this is a very tight draft, so he could rise and drop any time. I am not saying he's bad. In a few weeks he could be top 5, who knows?

No way, Svech is a franchise player. Dahlin and brady are also elite.

Alright, I may have ranked him too low but He is not top 5 material. I'll give you 6 or 7 though.
