Huge no from wpg on that trade . Only chance we move Ehlers is for a package like L. Brown + JBD + 2021 1st (if it’s top 5). That’s how valuable Ehlers is to wpg, he’s been the most consistent and well rounded forward for the past 2.5 years. This package is like me saying the Jets will trade David Gustafsson + Declan Chisholm + 2 2nds for one of Batherson or Norris.

Not a chance that gets you Ehlers. And Jets won’t trade him for anyone

When the Canucks played the in Toronto, I thought Elder looked awful slow. Just think we so many teams near the cap, there will be better value that would benefit Ottawa.

Except that L. Brown and Brannstrom are more valuable than Gustavsson and Chisholm.

That’s why I said that thenjets would be moving them for a guy like batherson who’s worth less than Ehlers to account for the gap in value.
