Turbo is our core, yes, we may have to trade him for cap at some point before the deadline, but not for Kerfoot. Given our current cap situation, I would not like the thought of retaining salary. Kerfoot can be a valuable 3rd line winger, but is no replacement for Teuvo.

If I was Toronto I would say yes to this deal right now.

Can I just point out as a leaf fan that Toronto is having a solid year kerfoot has a real tough guy to play against he fast and hard on the puck especially behind the net .

That being said if you think he and a bunch of picks (no firsts?) is worth teravainen you are mistaken the best part is you think Carolina will retain 50% of his salary too

All in all bad trade Toronto needs to give up some real value here maybe Freddy could sweeten the deal while you drop some picks and only offer like one 2nd or 2 4ths
