Girard is the best avs player right now

As an Avs fan 2nd, I'm "terribly scared of" and "in awe of" the entire AVS defense. It will be the best defense in the league for the next 10 years if everyone can stay (Makar, Girard, Toews, Byram, Graves) and Timmins and maybe even Barron to come.
Finally, I hate how hard it is to watch the AVS play up in Canada.

Grubauer has been league average or better this whole entire time in Colorado, lets knock off the myth that avs need better goaltending and time to respect Grubi as a legit starter in this league.

...Like I said, we disagree, which is fine. I don't know if it's worth mentioning why I think otherwise...

Hughes is still developing and has a bigger upside so VAN declines and AVS already have Makar.

I'd keep Sammy over Hughes. Only way I'm shipping him out is if it's a pretty major upgrade coming back.

It's not an actual trade proposal. More just a post to illustrate that Girard is underappreciated.

I was thinking what it would be like to bring back two dmen on PP1, makar is more skilled than most forwards so it wouldn't be like you're losing skill. But i'd like to see makar in the middle where kadri is and girard at the point so mack and him can actually hit one timers back and forth, that might open up the cross seam to rants as well since every team watches that now
