I could try that but the need the veteran. We are giving up a lot but it is not too much. Stutzle is a good young player and one of the highest scoring rookies right now.

That is a difficult decision. Laf has all the potential, but hasn't fulfilled yet. But I think he will. What Kravtsov is doing in KHL just doesn't happen by kids his age. It is amazing. They will both be stars.

You said no to giving up Strome / first pick for Stutzle and suggested Howden / first pick. I said that wasn't enough and I thought Senators would benefit from having the veteran.

They are all in same group of players. Kravtsov will be like Laine. Hughes is very small and hasn't played well. Always been lower ceiling guy for first overall. Maybe a Clayton Keller at best, probably more of a Yanni Gourde. Stutzle looks pretty good but is not a lock. Probably like Ryan Nugent Hopkins. Some teams need wingers, some teams need centers. This is why they make trades.

Kravstov will not be like Laine
Hughes has played better than Laf and Kakko
Stutzle looks very impressive so the Sens wouldn't trade him
Centers are the most valuable position

Kravtsov will be Laine or close to it. Big winger with lethal shot. Laf and Kakko are adjusting but look a lot better than Hughes. I just wish one could play centre.

Yeah I questioned that statement. I’ll give laf a break due to it being his rookie year, but Kakko doesn’t get a pass, I’m not very high on Kakko at all. Laff will be good, but hughes will be very good and C is worth a lot more. I think laff and Hughes will have similar careers. His whole thread is just ridiculous. I was being so sarcastic but it was taken seriously, and now he’s trying to say that Kravtsov will be like laine when he’s never shown anything to indicate that, and says that stutzle is going to be like RNH...
